PRIVACY NOTICE: This is a Hobart Indiana High School, Class of 1967 Closed, Private and Classmate Only website established in 2009. This "ad free" site is funded by the generosity and kindnesses of many wonderful '67 classmates. The classmate profiles of those allowing "non classmate/unauthorized" users to post on their site will be deleted according to our guidelines. Solicitiations for personal business and fundraisers are prohibited on this site. All contact information (address, phone number, e-mail address) entered into this website will be kept confidential. It will not be shared or distributed. The Administrators will send out e-mails to all members to keep them updated on reunions, etc., but your e-mail address will not be given out without your permission. The only information that will be visible will be you city and state. The viewing of all other information will be controlled by you on the "Notify Me" and the "Edit Contact Info" sections.
An email can be sent to you using the contact box at the bottom of your Classmate Profile page, but the sender will not be able to see your e-mail address without your permission.
Note: If you send a message to someone through their Profile page, the Classmate will see your email address so that they can respond. You may choose to have your profile visible only to logged in classmates by checkmarking the Profile Visibility.
In order to ensure you receive important messages from our class web site, as well as messages sent directly to you from other Classmates, it's important you whitelist the email address email@example.com (that's a .net, not a .com).
What is whitelisting? Whitelisting simply means you are telling your email program to accept all emails coming from our class web site and our Classmates. The technique for whitelisting varies by email program, but generally you will see the term "Whitelist", "Safe List", or "Safe Sender's List". This is where you want to be sure you have added the email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
Class Creator, the system that helps us operate our class web site, uses the address email@example.com when sending out email messages. Be assured that all emails sent through our site are valid — you will not receive spam email. Whitelisting firstname.lastname@example.org is the single most important thing you can do to ensure you don't miss anything happening on our site or miss receiving your emails from your fellow Classmates.
Stop and take a moment to whitelist email@example.com right now, and ensure you stay connected!
